Privacy at intelecho

intelecho is a proof of concept built by Colin Gillingham. Updated October 24, 2026.

Optional website analytics

If you choose “Allow analytics,” Google Analytics measures visits, language and translation engine selections, call requests, connections, endings, and broad error categories. Analytics cookies help count browsers and visits and expire after 30 days. Google also processes technical information about your browser and connection.

We don’t send phone numbers, call identifiers, audio, transcripts, or conversation content to Google Analytics. Automatic form tracking and advertising personalization are disabled. Page addresses sent to Analytics exclude query strings and fragments. Analytics runs only on intelecho.app.

You can decline analytics and still use the demo. Change your choice using “Analytics preferences” at the bottom of the home page. How Google processes information from sites using its services.

Calling and translation

To connect a call, intelecho sends the phone numbers you enter to Twilio. If you enter an optional name, it is sent to OpenAI to generate a short introduction, then played to the recipient through Twilio in their selected language. The introduction is held temporarily while the call is open and removed when the call ends. Your name is not sent to Google Analytics or included in application call reports.

Call audio is streamed through Twilio and OpenAI for translation. Those providers process information under their own policies. intelecho retains aggregate call diagnostics for up to 24 hours to troubleshoot the demo; these diagnostics are separate from Google Analytics. The demo does not record real call audio or save real conversation transcripts in the application.

Your own callback number is remembered in your browser, and a session cookie lets you manage your call. These are used for the demo’s operation and are separate from optional analytics.
